โ”€โ”€ How it works

Three pieces. Eight weeks. One Sprint.

  1. 01

    Diagnostic placement

12 problems across number theory, counting, geometry, and algebra. Tells you exactly which AMC 8 strands your kid already owns and which need work.

  2. 02

    8 weekly packets

4 problems per week, printable on a single sheet. Difficulty climbs from warm-up in Week 1 to contest-stretch in Week 8. Parent answer key with recognition-first commentary teaches the why, not just the steps.

  3. 03

    Readiness report

End-of-season summary by topic strand, with a readiness band and where to focus next. Not a score prediction โ€” a clear map of what's solid and what still needs work before the late-January test.

โ”€โ”€ What makes it different

Why this Sprint, not another curriculum.

Recognition-first commentary

Most prep teaches the procedure: "use the LCM formula." We teach the cue: "when a problem asks for the smallest number divisible by both, that is the LCM trigger." Kids who recognize the pattern solve the next problem in 30 seconds instead of 3 minutes.

On paper or on screen

Each weekly packet prints on one sheet. Your kid works through it with a pencil, then enters answers online to get them graded instantly โ€” or you check against the parent answer key. No screen time required for the problem-solving itself.

One purchase, whole family

Not a per-kid subscription. Buy once, use across all your kids in the household. If you have an older child for whom Week 6 is the right starting point, jump there.

Built around the AMC 8 distribution

Problems are calibrated to the AMC 8's own difficulty bands โ€” warm-up #1โ€“5, contest pace #6โ€“15, stretch #16โ€“25. Across the season your kid practices the entire range, not just the easy tier.

โ”€โ”€ Questions

FAQ.

Is this a subscription?

No. The Sprint Kit is a single $199 purchase for the full 8-week season. You keep access to your purchased packets afterward.

What grade is this for?

AMC 8 is open to students in grades 8 and below. Most participants are in grades 5โ€“8. The diagnostic places your kid; if they crush Week 1, jump ahead. If Week 1 is hard, that's where you start.

How is this different from other contest prep options?

Most contest-prep programs are either expensive per-lesson tutoring or year-long curriculum subscriptions. The Sprint Kit is a focused 8-week season designed for parents who want a structured run at AMC 8 specifically, without committing to ongoing fees.

What if my kid doesn't finish a week?

No deadlines. The 8 weeks are a suggested cadence; your kid can take longer. Packets stay accessible.

Ready to start?

Diagnostic and all eight weekly packets available immediately after purchase โ€” work on screen or print them at home.
